What ports can I enter with a Myanmar e-Visa?
With Myanmar eVisa, you can enter at any one of the following ports:
- If you travel by air, here are 3 international airports to enter Myanmar: Yangon, Mandalay, and Nay Pyi Taw.
- If you travel by road, you can enter Myanmar through one of 3 international land border checkpoints: Tachileik, Myawaddy, and Kawthaung.
Prior to embarking on your journey to Myanmar, it is crucial to ensure you have a printed copy of your e-visa. Upon arrival at any of the designated border checkpoints, the Immigration Officer will request to see both your valid visa and passport as a prerequisite for entry into the country. The passport you use to travel to Myanmar needs to remain valid for no less than 06 months, with at least 02 blank pages for stamping.

The duration of your stay in Myanmar is determined by the type of visa you hold. For example, if you hold a tourist e visa, you can remain in the country for only 28 days with a single entry. Meanwhile, holders of a business visa are allowed to stay there for up to 70 days. It’s worth noting that a Myanmar e visa is used only once per entry. You must obtain a new visa if you wish to return to Burma country.
