What Are Myanmar Visa Requirements For Japanese Citizens?
The Myanmar visa requirements for Japanese citizens to enter Myanmar are as follows:
- A valid passport: Japanese citizens must have a valid passport with at least 6 months of validity remaining from the date of entry into Myanmar. There should be at least 02 unused pages in the passport for verification
- A passport-size photo: A recent, passport-size photo of the applicant needs to be sent to our email address
- Myanmar Travel Insurance: Japanese citizens must provide proof of valid travel insurance coverage for the entire duration of their stay in Myanmar
- COVID-19 Vaccination: Japanese citizens must have at least two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine and provide a certificate of vaccination in English
- Payment methods for Myanmar visa fee: Japanese citizens can pay the visa fee online through a credit, debit card, PayPal, or American Express at the time of application.
There are some additional documents for two types of Myanmar e-visa:
- For Myanmar Tourist e visa: Japanese applicants are required to provide a hotel booking confirmation and a return flight ticket
- For Myanmar Business e visa: Applicants need to obtain a company registration certificate and a company extract.
